Here’s a photo of the frying pan used in the annual fish fry festival, for the Sagre del Pesce Italian festival held each May in Camogli, in the Cinque Terra section of Italy. This pan is probably no longer used, but on it is a photo of how it was used. 30,000 fish portions were fried in its 4 meter diameter. The handle is 6-meters. The pan weighs about 28 tons, with a capacity of 2000 liters of oil and fish:
